SELECTION PROCEDURE

1. Convert Capacity of prime mover to capacity per 100 rev/min.
2. Find the service factor from table 2.
3. Multiply prime mover capacity per 100 rev/min by service factor and select coupling from table 1 having power capacity equal to OR greater than this figure.
4. Check that size of the coupling determine by this procedure has a smaller bore than required then select the appropriate higher size.
