PIN BUSH COUPLING

The following factors should be taken into consideration for suitable couplingselection.

Power to be transmitted. 2) Speed or Shaft r.p.m. 3) Type of driven machine 4) Larger diameter of the two shaft to be coupled.
To determine required size of the coupling, First find service factor from table-B. Take the Normal Running power and Multiply it by service factor. The resultant figure is the design power for selecting a coupling. Using appropriate speed determine required size of the coupling from table-C.
